   I find it kinda funny that most zombie movies take place in america, the exact last place for them to find a balanced brain diet.

   shaun of the dead, anyone? that's not american. and though a comedy, it certainly was a zombie movie.

   28 Days Later? (although not termed a 'zombie' film) British through and through...

   Shame Boyle didn't direct 28 Weeks Later - If you watch 28 Weeks Later the Americans deal with the outbreak like they have dealt with the war in Iraq...shoot anyone, suicide bomber or not.

   The original zombie movie, "Zombi," was an Italian film.

   Actually, the Italian film "zombi" was just an Italian recut of the American film "Dawn of the Dead"
