Hate to break the news but methinks the entire affair was staged – too many cameras (good quality too) all in exactly the right positions to catch all the action. It all looked too contrived.
I think you’ve all been had.
Frankly, if it is real, I didn’t find it amusing. Pranks like this could put a lot of bystanders in danger, getting out of the way, and such. I once got caught in the middle of a real-life shopping mall chase, stuck between the guards and the perp, and it was not much to laugh at.
