Best in the World: British Camouflage.

Posted by Alex in Pictures, Weapons & War on June 28, 2007 at 2:25 pm

We’ve posted the couchmouflage, catmouflage, carmouflage, and satmouflage before, but the Brits got ‘em all beat. In fact, they’re so well camouflaged you just have to take my word that there are two – TWO! – British soldiers in this picture.

I think you posted the wrong picture, because ... oh, okay, now I see them.

    "How Not to be Seen"
    Rule 1: Don't stand up

Unfortunatley, he's taken a rather obvious cover...

It's rather worrying that they're conducting a mimic battle. A mock battle is presumably good practice, but a war against mimics, animals that pretend to be a different animal, seems a little unfair, especially using top-notch camouflage like this.

All I can see is like pine trees. Where are those clever British soldiers? Oh my!

All I can think of is Monty Python's "How Not to be Seen".

I'm glad they included the disclamer that they were in fact, NOT beings from another planet.

    Paul: excellent!

Remember the first rule of misdirection, meg: always claim what you're not.

And ted - excellent idea, How Not to be Seen was on Neatorama previously here: Link.

WW1 so the only bit you poked out of the trench was your head....so the camo is really not so stupid when you think about it.
