Irish Breakfast.

Rashers and Eggs is a blog dedicated to reviewing Irish breakfast dishes at various eateries from Dublin, Ireland.

So, on top of drinking, the Irish eat meaty meals for breakfast. Note to self: must look into visiting Ireland.

And why don’t they drop dead from heart disease more often? (Oh wait, 40% of the general population there die from heart disease. Never mind)

I have lived in Ireland for the past year and love it - love the people, the landscape the history....

but just to give you another (and more immediate) reason than heart disease to avoid a hearty Irish Breakfast:

    Black Pudding http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Blood_Sausage

    AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!

    It's like eating a scab!

This is a traditional full English breakfast with eggs, fried bread, tomatoes, beans, black pudding, hash browns and everything you could possibly want! I think the Irish have stolen our breakfast!

    NOT TRUE!

    All Irish meals include potatoes.

    Nice try to fool us.

Ahh, black pudding isn't too bad. And while potatos are a big part of Irish food they are not essential in the Irish breakfast.

Note on hearts: I (bing the one doing the reviews) have regular check ups and have a clean bill of health. I eat very healthy the rest of the time and work out to balance the fried food.

Why not help my heart by doing a review and sendign it in? ;-)

    Thanks for all the visits.
