Sgt. Dan’s VW Beetle Police Car.

That’s Sgt. Dan, a 1999 Volkswagen Beetle police car in Delaware who offers road safety tips to children. Before it, there was Trooper Dan, a 1971 Beetle named after the guy who came up with the idea, Lt. Dan Bramble Sr. (Sources: Photo | Text)

    I don’t know if they still have it, but the Arkansas State Police used to have an old VW Beetle that was called Trooper Doug the Talking Bug. And its trunk lid moved like a mouth when it talked & it’s eyes moved. It was WAY cute. I like this one too. You GO Sgt. Dan!
