How dare you. For your soul’s sake, you better brush up on your Bible. The consequences of blasphomy is serious stuff. Jesus conquered death for you and me.

I can’t say whether the artist was intentionally ripping on Christianity or just parodying a classic work of art. Regardless, it seems in poor taste to post the image.

Well guess what Jerrod, you’re one of those zombies.

you’re going completely offtopic again ^^

You go on offending my beliefs and I don’t say a word.

I posted this curious photo about a famous painting I don’t have to explain you that this. What if I post the Zombie Kidnap of Europe? Would you offend? Would you defend those poor ancient greeks? ^g^

Here you’ve got actors modded as gods with photoshop:

So is it OK to post pix of sites that feature collections of Mohammed cartoons? Mohammedians have a good sense of humor, too, no?

I’ve been formed as catholic and whenever someone jokes about preachers and their “kid love” I do just laugh and never get offended.

We’ve got to defend our freedom against integrism. Integrism is not democracy, it is not freedom, it should be illegal to teach integrism nor muslim neither catholic, etc.

If you let integrism take that beach head we’ll be soon drowning in their words.

Well he did tell them to drink his blood and eat his flesh! Not sure thats what he had in mind though..

Guess what, “zombies” & angels will be arround God.
Doktor A., bread and wine is actually flesh and blood of Jesus Christ, but the God hides the real thing because you will get shocked if you actually see flesh and blood.

Great work! I love it. He did say “eat of my flesh”, right? Don’t let the wacko’s get you down. Remember, freedom and liberty are not Christian concept, so *phlttt” to them. :P

Kim, you write that the consequences of blasphemy is (are) serious stuff. What are you basing that on? In my 33 years living in a variety of cultures I have never noticed that christians seem to be ‘luckier’ or have a better life than blasphemous people (generally it is the contrary!).

Could you please inform me of some modern examples where blasphemy has been punished?

Anyone who cannot handle their beliefs being challenged in this world should just disappear and leave the development of the world in the hands of those who will question their own beliefs in the face of a challenge in order to objectively assess the benefits/disadvantages of new ideas. Only then will other cultures feel that dominant cultures have respect for their beliefs. Respect is about taking a step back and listening/understanding, not imposing your beliefs on people regardless.

MRI scans are showing these days that religious people’s brains show activity in the same area as people who believe that aliens are talking to them - it is only because God is such an old concept that it is accepted, otherwise you would (should) all be put away in asylums.

    hoooo!
    wait, they’re not frenopathics!
People is afraid and they do need to belive before thinking they’ll get lost in darkness after dead.

While alive they should question their beliefs. Fanatics won’t do that and those ‘weak’, ‘fearful’, or simply those illiterated won’t question their beliefs.

Freedom solution comes with more schools, empirism and scientific knowledge ^g^

    My top 10 captions for this picture;

    10. “Is it sacraligious to have red wine with Jew?”
    9. “Jesus tastes great!” “Less filling!” “Tastes great!” “Less filling!”
    8. “Is this like eating the sacramental cracker”?
    7. He made wine and bread when he should have made a shotgun and some shells.
    6. “Turn the other cheek! All the meats gone off this one!”
    5. Even Jesus can’t stop a class 4 Zombie outbreak.
    4. “Hey! Shouldn’t somebody say grace?”
    3. “Just think! We’ll be able to eat him again in 3 days!”
    2. “Our savior indeed! Pass the white meat, I’m starving!”
    1. “Good thing we got him before he was crucufied! I hate beef jerkey!”

Hey, i got a question for anybody that can help me. i went to a tattoo shop a few yrs back and saw this poster of “the last supper” where instead of jesus and his disciples, it was a bunch of serial killers feasting at the table. it included hitler, dahmer, gacy, gein, and a bunch of others. i’ve tried and tried to find it on the net but can’t! does anyone know what it’s called exactly?

    It’s a fun image.

It is curious the offense that it draws however, considering the modern depiction of Jesus is no doubt completely erroneous. Jesus was a Middle Eastern man. He was not European as he is commonly portrayed. That means chances are he had dark curly hair, dark skin, perhaps a larger nose, among what ever other features he claimed. The portrayal seen today became widely accepted during the rennaisance thanks to European painters.

It reminds me of the Bible’s take on false idols… And I wonder if this counts as a “false idol.” It is a depiction of some man, yes, but it is not Jesus. So who here would be the blasphemer?

Of course, it seems to me that the whole concept is based around the idea that a Christian should focus more on The Word rather than The Image.

One more thing, and I’m just throwing this out there, “Judge not, lest ye be judged.”

This is a great piece. The artist shows a lot of technical prowess and a dark satirical wit.

    Kudos.
