Gelli Baff turns a normal bath into a pool of brightly-colored gelatinous goop. Its a powder that holds 400 times its weight in water, similar to the substance used in disposable diapers. A packet of dissolver is included to turn the goop back into water when it’s time to rinse. Link -via the Toy Review

Anyone know of any sites that deliver to the US? My nephew would have a fit for this stuff.

Patrick, you can find it at any magic store and/or practical joke shop. Just ask for "Slush Powder". However, Slush Powder doesn't come with dissolver, although salt has been known to work.

Is it safe for kids? My son would love it.

    Clutch,

Keep in mind that both Gelli Baff and Slush Powder absorb any liquid with which they come in contact. Any use by kids should most definitely be supervised by their parents.

After all, you don't want the kids putting this stuff in their mouth. It would simultaneously fill their mouth with gel and dry it out!

In answer to earlier comment, I think we're the only people shipping it outwith the UK, just follow the link, but bear in mind, it's quite heavy and quite expensive to ship internationally. It's every bit as good as it looks (and actually very kind to the skin, but we don't tell the kids that bit).

Personally i think its horrible! The dissolver doesn't work AT ALL! My brother had a really bad rash from it and it mad a really big mess...NEVER USE IT IN THE BATH...ONLY POOLS!

agree with Jade. Looks better on the tv than reality. I bought as a special treat as it is expensive at £5 per box (and each box is enough only for 6cm of water). The stuff didn't look anything like on tv advert - more like very runny wallpaper paste. Dissolver didn't dissolve properly either. Kids thought it felt horrible. Not sure where the "fun" element came in. Won't be buying again.
