All of us at Neatorama wish to extend our condolences to the family and friends of the victims of the Virginia Tech shooting.

I can’t imagine losing my loved ones, let alone through a horrific act of violence such as this. They are in our prayers.

Up here in Canada the atmosphere at my Uni and I'm sure at others was very subdued and sad. We feel the same pain since we experienced the same occurence with the recent Dawson College shooting.

Condolences to the family of the victims.

I lost a friend. I didn't know her too well but she still meant a lot to me.

For a while now, I have been linking Neatorama stories to a Virginia Tech message board. Both sites have brought numerous hours of time-wasting entertainment to me. On behalf of all the Hokies who have also enjoyed the weird and wacky tidbits posted here, thank you for your condolence. I look forward to the day that our Tech board can return to a somewhat normal state and Neatorama items can, once again, happily fritter away some of our time.

It's indeed a very sad thing. But I ask myself how many of the people that are lighting candles now, ever did the same for the dozens of people that die every day in iraq. Indeed very sad...

Someday, when it is realised what actually caused that kid to do what he did, this insanity can be prevented.

But don't look to the very industry that caused it to figure that one out...

And which industry would that be? I might consider investing in that sector.
