Easter is nearly here, and with the holy day, we get … Peeps! Here’s a neat list of movies, history, and diorama featuring Easter’s favorite snack.

This one above is The Lord of the Peeps – if you can’t guess which movie it features, then you must’ve been living under a rock.

As a Brit, can someone explain what a Peep is?? We just have chocolate eggs and bunnies!

Peeps are marshmallow candies of absolutely no nutritional value whatsoever.

Marshamallows formed into baby chick form covered with a fine sugar coating, traditionlly yellow in color. Used to be available only at Easter.

Now the company uses other colors of sugar for the chicks as well as makes other shapes (you see the bunnies in some of the dioramas) and has Peeps in varios shapes for other holidays (Christmas, Halloween, Valentine's Day)
