Pedal-Powered Roller Coaster.

Look closely at this rollercoaster in Japan: it’s a human-powered roller coaster that you pedal! Link - via Random Good Stuff

That would have to be the SCARIEST thing ever. And what if you have the Japanese cycling team powering the car behind you!

I have to say, this looks more like a sightseeing monorail type thing (yes, I know there’s more than one rail!) than a roller coaster. I mean there’s no seat belts and people seem to be standing up!

It’s not a roller coaster, it’s a ride called Sky Cycle. Follow the link and read the comments for more info.

There is something similar to this at Wildwood in New Jersey. It’s not a roller coaster, but it’s SO much fun, and not as scary as you’d think.
