Creepy Rent-a-Gun Ad.

   Aaah! Holy god! Tell me that's a joke, that you can't just rent a gun for ten bucks in the States. Now I'm really paranoid about travelling to America.

   Do you think they sell plastic bags, hacksaws, and acid too?

   First of all, you're silly to be scared of coming to America because you saw an ad for gun rental. There are hundreds of countries where you are WAY more likely to be killed by a gun than in America. Secondly, of COURSE you can't just rent a gun. The gun "rental" is for firing at his range only.

   Hehe, I can't believe it. The guy was like 20 miles from me. I have heard he stopped selling guns because some nut job while robbing one of his stores, yes he had several, shot the clerk. He was around for years.

   Well, renting guns is pretty common at a gunshop. Usually you give them your id card/license to home, some cash for the weapon, obviously some cash for ammunition, targets and hearing/eye protection. Unlikely bowling or something you can usually rent a gun for two people to use.

   If your taking shooting lessons often this is the route you take with a instructor at a gunshop. Or before you buy a weapon.

   A few brief bits about Don Davis of Don's Guns-Indianapolis, IN;
   -At one time he was a bodyguard for Jimmy Hoffa (Go figure).
   -He's actually a very nice person, I bought my first rifle, a Remington .22 from him when he had only one small gun shop next door to a car wash.
   -And remember, "he just loves to sell guns" (his famous catch phrase in his TV commercials).
