We took a look at VideoSift’s politics channel last week, so let’s take a look the geek video channel.

Think your locker or bike is safe because it’s padlocked? Think again: this combination padlock can be opened in under a second with a simple shim: Link

If you think your house’s front door lock is safe, think again: it takes only seconds to open that too: Link

This short and sweet clip shows a neat series of railside graffiti (okay, "urban painting") art that look like a stop-motion animation when viewed from a moving train!

The artwork was done by Bonom and Lork at the Etterbeek train station, Belgium.

This clever kinetic sculpture, made by Steve Hollinger, is a self-contained artificial heart made from broken bulbs and melted glass capillary tubes, powered by the sun.

As the sun warms up the liquid, it flows through a network of glass tubes just like blood!

For the armchair traveler, a neat little video by Agosax about the many weird places in the world as seen through the eye of Google Earth.

Good: video clip about sand castles being blown up.
Better: in slo-mo explosion.
VideoSift awesomeness: in reverse!

A neat eye candy from Sand Blasters.
