Diana’s Battle with Wilm’s Tumor: a Touching Photo Essay.

By Alex in Health on Feb 12, 2007 at 1:41 am

Flickr user Box of Light has a photo-essay capturing the journey of a 5-year-old Diana, who was diagnosed with Wilm’s Tumor, a type of kidney cancer. The touching photographs capture Diana’s day to day life and show the resiliency and intimacy of the family as she undergoes treatment for the cancer.

All of us at Neatorama wish that you get well soon, Diana.

Maybe they will just remove her kidney? When my kidney got infected when I was three, they just removed it. Good thing about having 2. Only issue is that I had to take medication for a little while, see a doctor every year for it and my growth was stunted. I was pretty well off for having a kidney removed.
