I was lucky enough to be there on Australia Day. It was fantastic to see mother nature out do the 100grand they spent on fireworks!!

Its a fake. Anyone from perth will tell you that the comet was not travelling in that direction. I’m betting its 3 photo’s blended into one.

@James; You can’t tell the direction of a comet by its tail. It’s always turned away from the sun; unrelated with the direction it’s going.

A friend of mine reckons that her friend took this pic at Hillarys, but I’ve heard that the comet wasn’t visible on Australia Day. True?
