Futuristic Japanese Church

Futuristic Japanese Church

The Harajuku Protestant Church, located in Tokyo, was first unveiled by the design firm of Ciel Rouge Creation in 2005. The ceiling is specially made to reverberate natural sound for 2 seconds to provide a unique listening experience for worshipers and tourists. Get more info and learn how to get there at gridskipper. I’d love to find out if there’s any significance to the bright seats scattered amongst the stark white pews. Anyone know?

Honestly? The only person I could possibly imagine officiating at this church is George Takei. Can't you just picture it?

Seeing as how this is a protestant church, the coloured chairs are probably for decoration only.

coloured seats remind me of those in hongkong trains. i think the colour attracts people to sit there and helps fill out the bench with the correct number.

I am curious, if there is a wedding in this church. What the bride and the groom suppose to wear to match-up this church?
    Star was convention custom?

Did you just try to say "Star Wars convention costume"?

The picture looks a little weird, with the rear seats much closer together than the front seats. Must be a wide-angle lens thing.
