The amount of free time enjoyed by Something Awful regulars has always amazed me (a cousin of mine spends 4-8 hours a night photoshopping random pictures on their forums). I imagine this video must have taken a few weeks to put together, geez.

Can someone identify the music in the video…? It RAWKS!! Sounds a bit like E. S. Posthumous but I’ve never heard it before…

As for the video itself, maybe I shouldn’t have played it with my son on my lap…erm…I’ve got a lot of explainin’ to do now… ;-)

Incredible… I found this video just the other night! 0.0

I think it’s very funny, and Neodaemmerung just adds to the awesomeness :-D (especially on the ninja parts!).
    *watches again*
    Awesome!

By the way, are there any SA.com regulars that could shed some light on what program was used, please? I’d check out the site, but I wouldn’t know where to start! (I’m usually only there for ‘Photoshop Phridays’ ;-)).

I did a search at the Something Awful site and couldn’t find any information about this, however a Google search led me to the full size movie (81MB) and it appears it was part of an Introduction to Computer Graphics class from 2004 :
    http://www.cs.virginia.edu/~gfx/Courses/2004/Intro.Spring.04/

    It’s down in Week 10.

It also says it was made with Pintar’s VirtuaLab Mechanics (corrected link: http://pintarmedia.com/product/mech.php) an $89 Windows only program.
