The Devil’s Dictionary [wiki] was originally written by Ambrose Bierce, published in 1911. The book has inspired countless imitations, including this one which is very well done: The Devil’s Dictionary 2.0. For example:

digital rights management (DRM), noun
A technology that allows pants to be sold with a filching hand pre-installed in the pocket.

mash-up, noun
Media produced with all the delicacy and nuance of a fork vigorously working over a baked potato.

Web 2.0, proper noun
The name given to the social and technical sophistication and maturity that mark the – Oh, screw it. Money! Money money money! Money! The money’s back! Ha ha! Money!
