The Ball Out is a collaboration between Reebok and Alife. The pair of shoes are hand-made from tennis ball felt! Thanks AC!

Looks cool…but I’d hate to walk through tall grass in it. You’d spend the rest of the year picking burrs out of that nappy stuff!

Hop in your wayback machine and go, about ten years ago, looking for the Airwalk brand sneaks made from the same critter. Much cooler (they did it first, for starters) in the sneaker format than these goofy rebocks. I had a boss who hated them, so when the time came to finally retire them, I tied ‘em together and tossed them over the power line above where he parks. I hope he can smell them when the wind is just right!

OK…so i am obsessed with the smell of tennis balls. as weird as it sounds i buy them only for that purpose-i have a collection of cans that i use to smell as often as i can. i’m not a freak i promise. i also love the smell of new shoes. i need these. how can i get them??

I love the smell of tennis balls too! I always have since I was little. At summer tennis, we’d open the new cans just to smell them! I want a pair of these real bad!
