Grilling on a balcony has been either illegal or grounds for losing your lease in every apartment I’ve lived in. It’s absolutely 100% illegal in my state now after a fire about 10 years back.

Having watched several apartments go up in flames thanks to a gas grill exploding at an apartment complex I once lived in, I can understand why.
I think it must also be fun when you flip your steak off the edge of your balcony.

My apartment’s lease specifies a grill as being one of the few things permitted on the back porch (I have a gas grill I use on occasion.) That thing just looks like a fire waiting to happen though.
