Tom Mabe is a comedian who’s well known for making fun of those annoying telemarketers. Here’s one of his stunt from a while back, where he duped a telemarketer into thinking that he had called a murder crime scene:

    HAHAHAHAHA, oh man … that is the best!!! I’ve got to remember that the next time a telemarketer calls my place up.

    Oh man…I was a telemarketer once, for a semester, to save up for studying abroad (it was the best paying job I could get temporarily). It sucked. As annoying as it is, it’s not the telemarketer’s fault. I know the place I worked gave us scripts, and promised more money or the chance to win things if we got a certain amount of sales. We even got extra chances if we got people’s SS#s! We were given propmts on everything. Although honestly, I would have enjoyed someone messing with me….beats the monotony of people hanging up on you.

    “Just doing my job” didn’t work for the nazis, shouldn’t work for telemarketers.
