This Pysanka (Easter Egg) symbolizes the harmony, vitality and culture of the community and is dedicated as a tribute to the One-Hundredth Anniversary of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police who brought peace and security to the largest multi-cultural settlement in all of Canada.

    I’ve driven by that stupid, ugly thing so many times in my measly eighteen years, but have never stopped to inspect it. I saw a smaller version of it on the back of a truck once. Oh, Vegreville. One more town to drive by on the way to bigger, better things (I.E., the West Edmonton Mall).
