Yantra Mandir: Sculpture Garden / Astronomical Observatory.

In the 1700s, Maharaja Jai Singh II of India decided to build a sculpture garden / observatory for astronomy. The result is the Yantra Mandir [wiki] / Jantar Mantar observatory, where the sculptures are ancient scientific equipments to measure the sky.
