Lights and sounds start out fast and gradually slow down (just like a roulette wheel) to prolong the tension. When the sound stops, someone gets the shock of their life! I’ve played a similar game – it has four metal controllers, and the last person to press their button at the audio/visual cue gets a shock. You can also adjust the intensity of the shock… ow! I would be glad to never play that, or this roulette one, ever again.
