Medical Mystery: Girl Emits Glass from Forehead.

Posted by Alex in Medicine on September 23, 2006 at 2:05 pm

Doctors are baffled by the strange case of Sarita Bista, a 12 year-old Nepalese girl who has been emitting transparent solid objects (like glass pieces) from her forehead:

According to family sources, Bista, who is currently under constant medical observation, has emitted more than 130 "glass pieces", averaging 4 cm in length and 1 mm breadth, since January 18, 2006.

I’m pretty sure they need to check out her “X-gene”

Maybe her parents are hitting her over the head with bottles…

    Something to consider….

Generally in these cases the person herself inserts the strange object in his body and nearly always they just attempt to attract attention. Leave a camera 24 hours watching the girl than they will see that the phenomenon ends.

A complex hoax to be perpetrated by 12-year-olds.

I remember a similar story of a girl who can produce glass tears. At the time it was believed her tear ducts produced a chemical that solidifies upon contact with air. It wasn’t really glass, but it was clear and hard. I’m not sure if there were follow-up stories afterwards on that incident.
