Anyone thinking of getting one of these should check out last weeks Mythbusters episode. It shows how easy these things are to beat.

I’m reminded of the story of the chap in Singapore recently who was carjacked. One of those fancy new motors with fingerprint ignition. When the robbers couldn’t start it, they cut off his finger so they could drive off with it.

Don’t know about you, but I’ll never use my fingerprint as a security measure. Thieves willing to steal your keys to break in might also be willing to take the finger that replaces those keys.
