    Come on, Ted! That line of thinking means every carved piece of wood should really be cast in resin and plastic. Every painting should just be a photograph run through the photoshop filters. Every beautiful meal should just be protein paste in a tube.

    These are beautiful BECAUSE someone did them the hard way. They’re records of performances.
