The PIXIES took a break from their mega-concert european tour and played the (relatively) tiny club AKROPOLIS in Prague last night. They used the old trick of starting horribly late, getting everyone into a frenzy for forty-five minutes before they finally stepped onto the stage. They did look pleased to be the subject of such a rabid howling mass of fans. And the music was pretty good too until my ear drums burst.
