And the people needing to go the other way would drive where?
I find it hard to even call that a road. Never mind that the photos don’t even show what it’s like in the fog or a driving rainstorm.
I don’t know, seems like a pretty decent road to me. Has gravel on top and all. Wouldn’t drive very fast though myself.
I have been on that road, twice. It is quite interesting to say the least. On my first trip, I kept thinking to myself “what if this is not even the registered bus driver, what if he had a fight with his wife this morning?, what if he is drunk.”
It was definately adventerous and do not regret it. Not for the Jo Schmo tourist who works in corporate.
Its an amazing place!
I went mountain biking down this very road!!!

Forget that the most dangerous road is the highway between Kuwait and Bagdad.
Boogieing down this road was the most exhilarating experience my bowels have ever had, and it was a fortnight before my sphincter recovered frm the ordeal. For anyone who must do their own personal laundry, I recommend they avoid this road like the plague.
