Comcast Technician Fell Asleep on Customer’s Couch.

Posted by Alex in Everything Else, Video Clips on June 27, 2006 at 10:24 pm

The video clip that made it round the Net after Brian Finkelstein of Washington DC posted it on YouTube and got picked up by digg:

A Comcast technician came to replace a faulty modem. After spending an hour on hold with Comcast’s central office, he fell asleep on my couch. I’ve been in my apartment for three weeks and my internet connection is still non-functional. This is my tribute to Comcast, their low quality technology and their poor customer service.

Comcast was not amused, and fired the guy. They also fixed the customer’s problem.

I feel for the guy. After all, he was on hold with Comcast tech support for an hour! If your own employees get treated like that, do customers have any chance?

I agree. He should have tried harder to get someone on the line, but you have to feel for the guy. Someone on the other end failed to do their job.

That’s funny as hell. And I’m sure the line he called in on is dedicated to technicians and if that’s how they treat their employees, customers don’t have a shot!!! LMAO!!!
