Floating Bed.

What do you get when you cross a hammock and a bed? Why, the floating bed, of course! This bed was invented by Jeff Huff, who claimed that the gentle rocking motion helps people fall asleep faster and sleep better.

i saw them make a bed like this for a little girl on extreme makeover: home edition. it seems like it would be really cool to sleep on, except for when you’re sick.

They look comfortable and all.. but I can’t imagine having one for daily use.

It’s gotta be hard to make the bed. Not to mention making whoopie. :P

First I saw this thing in a magazine at the doctors office. Checked out the web page and was shocked at the price, $2800. WOW. So I went to work and built one for my self. Well it’s for my daughter. For about $600, Custom 3 inch thick mattress, It’s an 6 foot octagon shape with 6 ropes teathered to the celing. I have to say it’s the most comfortable thing to sleap on. She says that she doesn’t want any other bed and its been 5 years.
