François Zanella’s Homemade Cruise Ship.

By Alex in Pictures, World Records on May 19, 2006 at 10:02 pm

François is a French ex-coal miner, whose passion is building boats. One day, he decided to make a fully functional one-eight model of the Royal Carribbean’s cruise ship Majesty of the Seas. It took about 11 years to make this boat!

Saw this a month or so ago…I can only hope that when I’m older I have the patience to undertake a project even half of this magnitude! Awesome Francois! Simply Awesome!
If you haven’t checked out the site yet, do it now, you’ll be amazed. It’s not exciting, but it’s cool to see the ship/model actually in the water at last!
