Hannes Coetzee Plays Guitar with a Teaspoon Slider.

Posted by Alex in Music, Video Clips on May 9, 2006 at 10:19 pm

Hannes Coetzee is an aloe tapper and self-taught musician from South Africa. He is also the only known man who can play music using a teaspoon in his mouth to slide the melody in his guitar.

The only known practioner of this style, he is able to play the melody and the accompanying chords at the same time creating the sound of two guitars with one.

I have tried and that technique is close to impossible. It would only work on certain songs, so that song would have been altered to stop two parts playing the same note at the same time.
