To salute Sam Frantz, the inventor of hybrid corn, the city of Dublin, Ohio, commissioned an Malcolm to create a field of corn ears – from concrete!

    I grew up in Dublin, Ohio, and still drive by that area pretty regularly. It's nice as a tribute, but quite an eye-sore, considering how big it is.
    Only near Cowlumbus, Ahia (Columbus, which Dublin is near) would you see something like that.

    I live a few miles from this; it's kind of creepy, actually, especially when you're new to the area and have no idea what it means. Corn that's greyish-white just looks WRONG.

    It's on Frantz Road, so this bit also nicely explains the name of the road.
