RI-MAN, Robot for the Elderly.

Designed by RIKEN Bio-Mimetic Control Research Center, this Japanese robot called RI-MAN is the world's first robot designed for lifting and carrying humans. It can also see, hear, and smell and is aimed at helping to care for the growing number of elderly in Japan.

Robots are programmed just to do anything you want them to, that meaning, if you want a killbot running berserk, you'd need to program them to do it, and give them the ways to do it (as giving them direct control over your "nucular" missile facilites and then let them run the show a la Terminator, or as Robocop's CEOs, run a demonstration of a weapon system using live ammo... on a closed office building... in other words, something so stupid we shouldn't be here if we dare to do.
RI man will face the Uncanny Valley and return defeated, it is designed to work with elderly, like my grandma, who refused to use the microwave oven for like 6 months after we were using it because it radiates the food... tough luck chum!

I think robots are stupid. They shouldn't be made. I think one day, something is going to go horribly wrong and some of the world is going to die. If you do continue to make them, just be very careful.
