    I never thought the image needed more explanation than what it is: obviously it’s a Chinese guy that turned his portable radio into a hands-free unit using some sponge, rubber band, and bent wire.

    Oh, he’s reading a newspaper posted on a wall (common in rural China).

    Gotta admire the ingenuity. :)

    Neal – well, it’s not that obvious I guess, unless you’ve been to (non-Beijing/Shanghai) China (I have) – the jacket and hat are classic Chinese old guy. Plus, “someone”‘s post the classico.it link with a side profile. :)
