TIme of day. The food can vary all over the world. It's the first meal you eat shortly after getting up. If you are a night owl and you eat breakfast at noon though it is now lunch. Time of day.

That's funny about the video store firing for doing a refund. when I worked in tower records back in the day, we would re-shrink wrap the records that got played in the store and sell them as new. This is the real reason why tower had such a liberal return policy. if a person a "new" record with scratches it was probably true and we'd replace it. no one ever got fired even if it was their first day

They mention the competition, AEI. It was my second job after leaving college. AEI made what we called foreground music. Same principal as Muzak but with real songs and real artists instead of insipid remakes. we did so well we forced Muzak to change their format, thank you very much :) Last I heard AEI got bought by a satellite service. My first job was Tower records. I kind of miss working for Tower. though the pay sucked eggs. lol. Several 80's and 90's local Seattle musicians worked for Muzak while starting their career such as Amy Denio who is still going strong. that is what I was doing when I worked for AEI. but I don't play professionally anymore. I am an old fart now. hehe

this is a lame list. for example, no one travels to 4 corners but it's a nice place to stop while traveling. it is free and it is basically a rest area. I've been there and it was pretty cool. but I was on my way from Arizona to the San Juan Mountains in Colorado. And some of them are actually kind of fun. I really liked Tombstone as a kid. Maybe in this day of video games it can be considered lame. and some of them are kitschy fun. Maybe a place to stare for five minutes and eat lunch in your car on your way elsewhere.

I was a kid and we just got a new color television which was a big deal back then and the first show we watched was Hee Haw. we lived outside Philadelphia and we loved the show. As an adult I love it because the main guys are very talented musicians and who doesn't love all the corny jokes. Really it was a country version of Laugh-In.

why do you care if there are documentaries on there of dubious claims? those things have been around as long as I have been alive and I am 60 years old. People should be allowed to make up their own mind. Believe me, just because it says Netflix original doesn't mean squat. there are a lot of fiction Netflix originals that are pretty bad so there is no way I would assume the factual ones are any better. Instead of trying to censor what people see, try teaching people critical thinking. that is a way better way to protect people from dubious documentaries.

it did star jackie gleason as a mafia hit man sent to alcatraz to kill a stool pigeon in protective custody. while he is there he accidentally drops acid and it changes his life. then theymake balloons out of bedsheets to escape and find God who is the head of the mafia, groucho marx. but the score by harry nilsson is the best part of the movie.. very creative. look it's madcap silliness of the 60's in the style of it's a mad, mad, mad, mad world. it is cheesy fun... but nothing else... I got a big kick out it. I own a dvd version of it

I've stayed here a few times over the years. it's cheap, clean, the wifi works, and been quiet when I've been there. not a bad hotel at all. and frankly I love the memorabilia. I've stayed at a couple scary motels over the years and this is definitely not one of them.
