Our border collie was hit by a car last summer and one of her rear legs was shattered so badly it had to be amputated. That brave little dog worked so hard to get back on her feet and run again -so this one hit home for me.
Yep -I tend to put the lid down, as we have one cat who likes to knock everything off any surface into the floor, including the over-toilet shelves. Also, when I restock the TP supply bin, I've lost a couple of rolls with my butterfingers. I'm trying to get the kids to do the same as a habit, mainly to keep their toothbrushes safe, but I have no idea what they do upstairs.
When you're young, you worry about what people think of you. When you're middle-aged, you don't care what people think of you. When you're old, you realize nobody was ever thinking of you.
So they are increasing the square footage of second floor interior living space without increasing the building's footprint. Nice! They'll find a way to tax that soon.
