I agree with you falves. I hate online ads, but I also realize that we simply can't survive without them.
The economics of online ads have also changed drastically over the years: it used to be that we could make ends meet with just banner ads. But as those ads decline in revenue, we finally had to give in and allow the more intrusive video ads. Sigh.
In any case, you shouldn't see any ads at all if you browse the site while logged in - so that's one solution! Thank you again for reading Neatorama!

Rinsing rice removes much of the enriched vitamins sprayed onto the rice grain surface during manufacture. Rinsing removed 77% of folate, 57% of niacin and 54% of thiamin from polished and parboiled rice. Rinsing had almost no effect on vitamins in whole grain brown rice.Nov 2, 2015

I don't have a problem with her method of measuring, use whatever works. However, if you have to drain your rice, it's either not done or you've used too much water. And I cannot cook rice without rinsing it first, no matter how many people tell me it's not necessary.
