It's called top down processing... once someone tells you that you will hear it, then you interpret the data to hear what you think it will be. While there are some cases where Disney artists have put some inappropriate materials in the cartoons, Disney itself is not trying to brainwash our children. I guess people will make of it what they want to make it. Pure bogus.
Not joining Reddit to post this, so I'll share it here:
I'm reading Brown Bear Brown Bear What Do You See? to my daughter. "What does the bear see, honey?" "A red bird!" "What does the bird see?" "A yellow duck!" And so forth.
I get to the end and ask, "And what do the children see?"
Control what you can -- be extra-kind to people tomorrow. Be a bit more tolerant. Show more love than you might ordinarily. People will need it. I will need it. And it is something that counteracts the hatred that brings people to do things like they did in Boston. It can't be undone, of course. It's just something we can all do and it gives the collective finger to that mindset. The internet will wait if you want to go hug your wife, husband, cat, dog, boyfriend, girlfriend, sister, brother, etc., etc., now. I promise the animal videos will be here when you get back.
I always laugh thinking about what the owner of that car must have thought if the impression survived the night.

She looks at me gravely and answers, "Too much."
Nailed it!
