@ Robert: "If the French were rude to you, you’re probably just stupid or obnoxious or something."
I've traveled the world, and of all the cities I've visited (including remote places like Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia), Paris, France was the rudest and its people the most unhelpful.
It's quite difficult to choose one Hindu temple in India over another - there are just so many of them. Furthermore, a lot of them share similar names (so one search for "Sri Venkateswara Temple" brings up many temples around the world, not just the main Tirumala one.
Incidentally, I chose Srirangam over Tirumala because it's far more colorful.
Indians are so touchy when it comes to their temples ;)
David, I thought that was debunked: ye olde glass panes weren't made uniformly. So when they were installed, homebuilders of yore (who weren't stupid), put the strongest part on the bottom.
@Monster - it's an EMOth. Har dee har har!

So the quagga is extinct - we humans live on and have improved living conditions since the late 19th century. Why do we need a zebra subspecies?
Just thinking outloud.
Now, if it was a giant woolly mammoth, THAT'll be different! :)
