I've been watching TV with subtitles for a couple of years - ever since someone on a Walking Dead forum mentioned how much easier it was to understand. Now there are shows I can't watch because there are either no subtitles or the subtitles don't match the dialog. The other thing I love is that they often tell me what mood the music is trying to set. Because I always thought music was trying to set either a happy or scary mood - but the number of variations is amazing and in some cases actually changes what I thought was happening in a scene.

I really think the majority of people put a lot more thought into what they want to get tattooed that you might think. I know I spent a lot of time looking for the exact design I wanted, and even though it was something from pop culture at the time, 25 years later I'm still happy with it because it had meaning to me.

They used to run these in the 80's or 90's - my cousins used to do them a lot. But back then, you'd really just end up on whatever flight had empty seats. I thought it sounded like a lot of fun, but they stopped them before I was in a position to do it.

I just know that my little monster would have no interest in it until I was sleeping on top, Being woken by the sound of scratches and bumps coming from the box under the bed would not be conducive to a panic free night. Although I'd probably buy one anyway, because he's a very cute little monster and I do love him.

I know him, he's an Aussie!
The Australian parliament actually made an official (posthumous) apology to him for the way he was treated when he got back to Australia. I'd never heard of him until a couple of years ago - and we're a country that usually idolizes it's sporting heroes.

Yes, it was the lid, but we always called it a toilet seat cover. I've never seen the paper things, but I'm not sure if that's because they're not common in Australia or I just don't use the right kind of public toilets. They do sound like a great idea though, much less hovering would need to happen

Complex martial arts moves? I think I'd like to be a librarian in Spain. In Australia we only did stuff with books, magazines and computers. Complex martial arts moves would have been seriously frowned upon. Except for when someone came in asking for a book with a blue cover.

I used to work in an educational library and we'd often get people looking for "a really thick blue book". It always turned out to be nursing students looking for the DSMIII so we'd look super efficient when we'd just wander over to the shelf and say "here it is"!

Meh! I'm a night owl and I'm about 80% convinced that all these articles trying to convince us to get up early are just written by people who want us to be as miserable as they are while doing their 5am meditation followed by journaling and yoga.

In Australia, we stand on the left and walk on the right! While I can see how having everyone stand might be better for everyone, on the odd occasion when I'm in a hurry, it would be torture just standing there the whole way! I'd probably choose to take the stairs

I think it's a unlikely, but I still wouldn't be 100% surprised to see Rick die. I hope Negan and Dwight both live, I really like them! I could live with Daryl going, but would be devastated if something happened to Carol. She's my absolute favorite.

Oh, and I think it'll be Aaron, Cyndie & the rest of Oceanside who turn up to save the day. Although I kind of hope Eugene does something to save Team Rick too!

I love this! My cat brings me geckos, and I go to a lot of trouble to make sure he doesn't realise that I grab them and let them go outside (I don't want to hurt his feelings!) Maybe I should let him know that lizards aren't what I need...
