Real mythology means the story will reflect the teachings of a former-religion, now called mythology because no one practices it anymore, rather than made up by a current writer.
I get that it's all done for show, but as someone currently coping with the situation, I have to be a party-pooper and say that his lack of a red nose and no vapor coming from his nose and mouth are pretty clear indications that he filmed this in non-sub-zero temps.
The initial seconds were ones of horror, not carefreeness. My guess is that the later snippets where they are laughing were filmed after they'd been let in on the joke. Cruel, not heartwarming. I'm glad no one did that to me when I lost my hair to chemo.
