now I didnt read the whole story but it sounds to me like what they're talking about is an ESOP (employee stock ownership plan). its kinda like a retirement plan, and they would not have to pay taxes on anything until they leave the company or retire at which point they are paid from the plan

Well, it's hard to listen to the lyrics and not agree with (1971) John's assessment that it is virtually the Communist Manifesto. It's so obvious that I don't think one even needs to do a point-by-point.

I am a big John Lennon fan. He was tremendously talented. At that time, he was also incredibly naive, a nasty drunk and, frankly, a bit of a dick even when sober. Let's not forget that he was barely 31 when this song was released, and a very immature 31 at that - given what had happened to him to that point, that's hardly a surprise.

This is one of the saddest aspects of his assassination just 9 years later. By that time, it seemed like he had broken through at least some of his issues and was just about to hit a new gear - sadly, it is left to us to "Imagine" what might have been...

This movie may be a "skip it" for me. I get motion sick quite easily and have had issues in movies before. I was one of the people who "lost" their popcorn in Blair Witch Project. :(

"Public outcry" should have absolutely nothing to do with the justice system in a nation of laws. But in this case, it wasn't just the "public" (Sharpton, New Black Panther Party with death threats), it was also the U.S. attorney general's office & FBI showing up in Florida and interfering with a state law enforcement matter. It doesn't seem possible that Zimmerman can get a fair trial, because of political interference with the justice system. Also, the "artwork" is pretty lame. As PC art typically is.

Yes, it would have been better for Zimmerman to let Trayvon kill him by beating his head against the sidewalk. That way we'd know for sure that a murder had occurred instead of having all this trumped up charges stuff going on...

Stand your ground is only controversial if you believe that people should always give in to bullying and violence, especially women. Otherwise it's nothing more than a codification of common sense and personal rights.
