Mothers have more impact than the scientific community has caught on to. I am currently struggling with my mother's death. She died at age 53, the age I will be this year. But why am I so affected? We weren't close. I'm not like her. It makes no sense.
I have also seen girls taken away from their abusinve mothers who are affected for their entire lives. One girl went to live with her mother at age 18. WHY? It was short lived and she has now gone into the Navy. I hope that helps her break free.
Another girl I know is not so lucky. Her life is a total mess. She has never been able to let go - even though she was also given a better life.
If you think about it - even Jesus was a mama's boy.
