Really funny stuff here! Yes, that is what Southern women say, and said the way they say it. All you actresses who fake the accent badly, should have this video on a loop. [Hint: it's all about the vowels.]

Several of the shadows look "off." I'm not seeing an eagle-shaped shadow, just the shadow of the headstone. And there is a sort of pixel halo around it. It does look a little Shoppy, yeah. But it's a lovely image and if it makes people happy, that's all good.

I have a 4-year-old Maine Coon cat who absolutely loves to hug necks and lick faces. And then he flips himself over so he's in your arms like a baby. That's your cue to rub his belly while he sleeps.

Yep, we both get an endorphin boost from it.

As for the article, it's so sad that we lock these animals in a cage to protect them from us. Because we're to stupid or cruel to realize that they want basically what we all want: companionship, mental stimulus, the chance to live an interesting life.

Meh. I'm off my soapbox for now.

What's "neato" about Neatorama is that the content engages your brain. Sometimes it's just for fun. Sometimes it's intended to make you think -- and question things that aren't very pleasant. Doing so might cause you to strive for positive changes in the world.

If you demand only super happy fun time from your surfing, maybe you should stick to sites that show only baby animals or Fox News?

So if your kitchen must supply the chemicals for this "chemistry set", isn't the toy mainly just a bunch of plastic props for a child's imagined laboratory?

Arrested Development was one of the smartest, funniest shows I've ever seen, and it made great use of "inappropriate is funny." Maybe people didn't think it was funny because they didn't hear a laugh track that told them so?

Sounds like you had a great time, Miss C!

One of the things I noticed about Las Vegas is that it reminds me of a bunch of shopping malls. You know how shopping malls always have the same stores (Claire's, Sears, Hot Topic, the Cookie Factory, etc.) but differ only in decor.

In Vegas, you have the same slot machines and table games in every casino but the decor is different.

It's still a lot of cheesy, garish fun to visit!

I've been broke and I've had decent-paying jobs. Although I've always lived simply, I can honestly say I was infinitely happier when I KNEW my paycheck would cover my bills and I didn't have to worry about scrimping, saving, cutting back, shuffling payments around just to make ends meet.

Money doesn't buy happiness, but the right amount buys security -- and that makes me happy.
