The thing about Elvis is quite true. My dad actually lived in a small duplex with Elvis' family in Tupelo before they left.
Till the day my dad died, he would talk about what a wuss and Mama's boy Elvis was.
Yet, Elvis and my dad were friends until his death (Elvis kept fairly close to another mutual friend from Tupelo... a notorious lawyer, Jimmy Shelton). Jimmy and wife and my dad and mother used to go to the shows backstage quite often and my dad would joke with Elvis about his Mama's boy attitude when he was a 4 year old.
Elvis gave Jimmy a 56 Thunderbird that his family still has to this day (and turned down over $1M offer for).
True story.
