They didn't answer their own question. The real reason is that "B" batteries had higher voltage (~45V) needed for plate voltage in vacuum tube radios. "C" cells were originally for tube biasing. "A" cells were for the tube filaments (heaters). Transistorized electronics can work at lower voltages, don't have filaments, and don't need a separate bias supply. Sorry so technical, but it is the only reason we no longer have "B" battreies.
Mad About You had a great episode (Giblets for Murray) in which the turkey was eaten by the dog. Then a replacement from a deli was stolen, and another replacement went out the window. It also dealt with the in-laws' conflicting traditions.
I install and maintain this type of outdoor camera for TV stations. This happens a lot because the cameras are in waterproof housings which have an overhang over the little window. They have little wipers/washers but the wipers just stretch the web, causing the spider to get busy fixing it. One camera was so bad we added insecticide to the washer fluid reservoir.
This happened on an episode of House M.D. I think the baby needed surgery and they put the baby back to ripen when done. The baby grabbed Dr. House's finger. It looked real-maybe it was- and even grumpy Greg's hard shell was momentarily softened.
A friend saw a man standing in front of his house and after several minutes asked if he needed something. It was Bill Nye. He had grown up in the house and wanted to visit it again. My friend gave him a tour and got to hear stories about the house.
I'm just saying the child's presence is the issue and not the fact that she breastfed it. If she had bottle fed it would this be getting the same attention?
The wrong question is being asked. Breastfeeding is not the issue. It only took a fraction of total class time. How many college students haven't seen bare breasts? And these were being used for their primary purpose, not in a lewd or provocative way. Covering up should be optional and for the modesty of the mother and not for bystanders puritanical beliefs. Should she have brought a sick child to class? I say no, but it isn't deserving of this much attention.
