Breastfeeding And Exposure

A breastfeeding Mother was asked to cover up while she breastfed her child in a North Carolina coffee shop. It is a coffee shop the Mother has been to with her baby several times.  The Mother was not asked to leave, but she was asked to be a bit more discreet.  The angry Mother left the coffee shop and took to her Facebook page. Soon the incident hit the local news. Who's right, the angry Mommy or the struggling coffee shop owner?

I think that every woman has the right to breastfeed in public but they should cover up while doing so. If the establishment offers a chair in the bathroom for privacy, use it!

I used to work at a restaurant and we had two young bus boys (under 14) who felt VERY uncomfortable because a woman refused to cover up while breastfeeding in a busy section.

It's every woman's choice to breastfeed, I support that choice as an expectant mother. However, I will cover up while I breastfeed because even though it's my choice, it's not the choice of others to witness it.

Bring a blanket to cover up, what's the big deal?

OMG Someone might see a boobie - EVERYONE PANIC.

American's are the dumbest prudes in the civilized world. I'm sure if the mom was teaching her baby how to field strip a AK47 no one would bat an eye.

They're boobs, everyone has them (yuck man boobs), get over it already.
