Juan of The Dead Is A Great Horror Comedy
Sometimes us bloggers get free movie screeners, but often those movies are so bad they aren't even worth writing about. Juan of the Dead is not one of these movies. Zeon and I just watched it and agreed that you guys should definitely know more about it, so here is the trailer.
It really was a great parody of zombie films with a touch of social commentary on the Cuban government by its citizens. The comedy wasn't over the top, nor were the politics, but the gore sure was, which made it all the more enjoyable for horror fans. Of course, if you don't like zombie films, you won't like it -but if you don't like zombie films, why are you reading a Halloween blog?
