The ‘Ugly Christmas Sweater’ is a wooly pullover, usually in different shades of red, white and green, often of questionable fabric, and with at least one Christmas-inspired motif on it. This subjectively ugly clothing has become an essential part of the holidays. If it’s something you won’t receive as a gift, it’s something that your parents might want you to wear to match theirs.
